    "GPS Receiver needs service"

A few weeks ago, the "Messages" area on my G3X started flashing yellow. I touched it and the message "GPS Receiver needs service" popped up. I made a mental note and pressed the "BACK" button to return to the moving map. See attached photo of the message (yes, I know my panel is dusty... apologies ).

This message started popping up periodically. Sometimes, maybe an hour between pops; other times, just a few minutes.

Interestingly, the moving map shows my position perfectly.

Has this happened to anybody else? Any ideas?

Any update to this issue? I have #196 and have started getting this message constantly. I head to Tampa next week for my 25 hour service and was gonna bring it up.

I cant help you with the "GPS Receiver Needs Service" issue, but I can help you with your other issue... "yes, I know my panel is dusty... apologies "
Buy Deionized Water, get a soft cloth damp with it, and wipe the screen. It takes off all the dust that collects on the screen (dust is a magnet to it), but more importantly, it makes your screen not a magnet to dust. It's complex chemistry, not sure why it works, but it does.
    Buy Deionized water here:

Alright, following up on this thread, while having my 25 hour service done Dex replaced the GSA 20 GPS unit. It’s working great now and I haven’t had the message return.
