With the introduction of Mosaic last year, the sport pilot seaplane rating can no longer be an endorsement sign-off by a IAFI or CFI. At any pilot level, a check ride with a FAA examiner is required for a seaplane rating. Who has had a seaplane check ride in the last year or has signed off a student for a seaplane check ride and who did you go to?
Which DPEs are still actively doing seaplane ratings in an ICON A5? I'd like to create a list for our future ICON pilots in all regions.
