Did you end up going to the splash in, I was taxing out for takeoff to go to that event when one of my brakes locked up so I had to return to the hangar, but normally parking's not a problem there using the ramp, I've been several times and also the one in the spring

I did, 3 Icons there along with the usual Cub, Cessna's, Aircam, etc. There was a Caravan full of gold trim there, the kind of thing you might buy if you won the lottery... The Rocktoberfest bands and food were pretty good too.

I was able to attend this one as well and as Tommy shared 3 A5s were there. I took ASN 111, ASN 190 was there as well as Tommy with ASN 64. 22 planes registered for the event, and I would say about that many showed up! 10 tails competed in two rounds of events. We did shortest T/O, a pumpkin drop contest (3 passes) and spot landings (Both power on and off).

    Shortest T/O winners -
1st and 2nd went to Air-Cams(5-ish seconds) and 3rd went to Icon ASN 111 at 9.5 seconds.

    Pumpkin Drops
1st ASN 111 in the A5! - I don't recall 2nd and 3rd for sure but I believe it was a pair of Super Cubs that took the plaques home.

Power on landing - 1st went to a Super Cub from (Lake Placid FL) unsure of 2nd and 3rd.

Power off landing - 1st went to ASN 111 unsure of 2nd and 3rd.

I'll try and post some videos or links here later today.
Next event is early march. It's always a good time! Let's get some more A5 there!!!!
