Engine Light (EGT Sensor number 4 out)
Hello, I am planning on reaching out to Icon directly but wanted to share this and see if anyone else has had this experience.
Conducted a normal flight (with water ops) and as I was returning to my airport my engine light came on. I checked all gauges and indicators and everything was good yet my EGT sensor #4 was out (See photo insert). EGT sensor 1 through 3 all good and appeared to function as normal. Any ideas what might be causing this?
Thanks in advance.

certainly a bad probe. They break really commonly. Its nice you have the G3X it tells you a bunch without needing the BUDS to read the ECU.

Yesterday, 10:33 AM #4Bad probe, I have replaced several of them. There was a shortage a few months ago and had to wait about about 6 weeks to get a new one.
Your mechanic can order and get you a new one. They are maybe $200 ish plus installation pn should be 866261 I have to double check it is the same pn on the g3x planes.
