Does anyone have any recommendations for fenders or buoys that you like to use with your A5?

For use at a private dock. Preferably inflatable or compact and light enough to carry in the plane, but not necessarily.

Let me know what's worked well for you and your ICON! Any input and feedback is welcome.

This is a real weak spot for the Icon. The replaceable Carbon-Fibre (bolted AND bonded) seawings are expensive and fragile and do not allow a Gear-down/up warning system. Should someone replace them with a robust (maybe rubber coated) fiberglass part, we could insert a badly wanted Radar Altimeter/Gear Down proximity sensor AND not be afraid of using public docks... I have found a great Radar altimeter that can tell the difference between water and a hard surface in order to give us a GEAR_UP! or GEAR-DOWN! annunciation/recommendation and call the height if wanted. It will not see through Carbon Fibre. Does anyone in our community mold fiberglass?

Michael, funny, I was just talking with Mandy the other day about the G3X radar altimeter install. She said engineering is already looking in to it, but busy with other tasks right now. She said they are looking to put in left wing to attach to power, but final information may be a few months. I'd love to have a radar altimeter!

The problem with the wing location for us 796 guys is we still need a gear-Down sensor which could be right into the sea-wing...

I use type IV throw cushion, works as a fender.

I use these - have worked well but I don't dock very often... I plug them into the side port below the canopy and hang them over
