    Any Plane Wash Tips?

When it comes to washing and waxing an ICON, what are recommendation for cleaner, soap, wax etc.. With the special paint and carbon, I want to make sure I avoid products that will do damage.

Hey there, ICON gave me a great run thru on how to clean the plane when they delivered it. I use only a little bit (very little, like pea sized) of regular car wash soap, and then detail the entire plane with this:

    Chemical guys antistatic detailer.

Chemical guys also has car wash mix as well but whatever you use, use a very little amount, then perform a comprehensive rinse - without any high pressure spray.

A simple shower setting on any spray wand will ensure that water doesn’t get forced into any critical components.

You should try this water de-ionizer. Once you wash your aircraft, you don't have to hand dry it as it dries it spot free. It's what I use on my AC and RV. http://www.nospotspro.com
