Hi - Mike Randolph here. I will be bringing my A5 up from Tampa in the spring and will hangar it at KBGM. Was wondering who had their A5 up on Cayuga Lake fishing this past summer? Would like to connect.

Did you find any other A5’s on the finger lakes? This weekend, I’m over on Keuka just north of Hammondsport. I have an Epic E1000GX that I travel between Clearwater (KPIE), Georgetown DC (hangar at KHEF) and summer time on Keuka (KPEO). Looking to get a little time in A5 this summer (am sea plane rated and test flew A5 out of the Tampa sales/maint location) for some trade time in my Epic. Hence trying to find if there are A5s anywhere from Canandaigua to Cayuga…. Love A5 plaftform. How’s your experience been?

Hi Mike,
Love my A5 but have had trouble keeping it in the air due to maintenance issues. Last year fuel tank failed SB 110624 pressure test. New tank subsequently leaked due to installation error, fixed in March and flown to a different A5 servicer near Phili to get this year's annual out of the way early but still don't have it back; bummer. Trying to have it for all of the summer/fall season and what's left of spring. The challenge has been lining up service providers - want to establish relationship with multiple places so to have options. Have been on Seneca, Cayuga, Keuka, Canandagua, Skaneateles and Owasko but haven't yet dropped in at KPEO. I'll let you know when I've got my bird back and look for a chance to meet up.
